Materials:
  • 1 A2 side folding card base- vertical orientation- 4 ¼ inches by 5 ½ inches
  • 1 mint green cardstock A2 panel- 4 ¼ inches by 5 ½ inches
  • 1 white cardstock panel measuring 3.75 inches by 5 inches
  • 1 pink cardstock panel measuring 3 ¾ inches by 3 ½ inches
  • Liquid adhesive
  • Bakers Twine- Black and White
  • Scissors
  • Black Pigment Ink
  • Stamp Set- large floral image and small sentiment (Magnificent Magnolias by Pinkfresh Studio)
  • Acrylic block- large 6.25" x 3.5" x 0.75"
  • Acrylic block mini round 1.5" around x 0.75” thick
  • Paper Trimmer
  • Low Tack Tape
Tips:
  • Tip #1: Don’t wait very long between inking up the stamp and stamping the paper, the ink dries fast.
  • Tip #2: Lift the acrylic block straight up and down to get a clean impression.
  • Tip #3: Press extra firmly at the top and bottom of the acrylic block when stamping to make sure the image transfers to the white paper as well as the pink paper.
  • Tip #4: Let the ink dry for a bit before you glue the Bakers Twine in place.
Steps to re-create this card:

Step 1:
Cut the three pieces of cardstock to the required sizes.

Step 1

Step 2: Attach the pink panel to the middle of the white panel- ¾ inches from the bottom and ¾ inches from the top. If the panels are not exactly the same size, trim using the paper trimmer.

Step 2

Step 3: Attach the floral image to the large acrylic block. Ink up the stamp with the black ink. Place a scrap sheet of paper until the pink and white panel before you stamp if you do not have a wipeable work surface. Stamp onto the pink and white panel at a slight angle with some of the image going off the paper.

Step 3

Step 4: Attach the “with love” sentiment to the small round acrylic block. Ink up the stamp with black ink and stamp in the upper left of the pink panel.

Step 4

Step 5: Cut two pieces of black and white Bakers Twine that are 5 inches long. Place along the card where the pink meets the white cardstock at the bottom of the card. Fold over the edges of the twine and attach to the back of the card with mint tape or scotch tape on both sides. Repeat the same process for the top of the card.

Step 6: Attach the prepared pink and white panel to the mint green A2 panel with liquid adhesive.
