Floral Card with White Heat Embossing on Vellum
Steps to re-create this card:
Step 1: Create an A2 side folding card base from white cardstock.
Step 2: Create the background panel. Cut an A2 (4 1/4 in. by 5 1/2 in.) panel from bright pink cardstock. Prep your cardstock with anti-static powder and position it in the stamping platform. Ink up the Peony Print background cling stamp with VersaMark Ink watermark ink and stamp the whole A2 panel. Cover with clear embossing powder and set with a heat tool. Heat from the back for best results.
Step 3: Create the focal point flowers. Cut 2 A2 sized panels from vellum. Ink up the Farm Fresh flowers stamp with white pigment ink and stamp on the vellum panels one at a time. Cover the pigment ink with white embossing powder and set with a heat tool. Die cut the flowers with the coordinating die.
Step 4: Create the focal point vase. Die cut the vase from the brushed gold metallic cardstock using the die from the Farm Fresh die set. Ink up the Farm Fresh Pick Your Own Flowers Locally Grown stamp with white pigment ink and stamp onto the gold vase. Cover with white embossing powder and heat set with a heat tool.
Step 5: Create the sentiment. Stamp the Sending You So Much Love stamp from the Sending Love stamp set onto white cardstock with black pigment ink. Cover with clear embossing powder and heat set with a heat tool. Die cut the sentiment and 2 blanks with the coordinating die.
Step 6: Assembly. Attach the vase to the background panel with liquid adhesive, but don't glue down the very top yet. Arrange the flowers however you like in the vase. Using the glue, only glue the stems and the parts that are tucked under the vase so that the glue won't show through the vellum. Glue the sentiment on the front of the vase with liquid adhesive. Attach the completed panel to the card base.
Finished!
